| Does Politics & Religion Mix?
Well to answer that question, we need to re-examine what
Isaiah had to say about the prophesied coming of the
"Messiah" in the book of Isaiah 9:6, 7 - (Let's read...)
Isaiah 9:6...
"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the
GOVERNMENT shall be upon HIS shoulder: and HIS name
shall be called Wonderful, COUNSELLOR, The Mighty God,
The EVERLASTING FATHER, The Prince of Peace."
(verse 7)...
"Of the increase of HIS GOVERNMENT and peace there shall
be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon HIS
KINGDOM, to order it, and to establish it with judgment,
and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal
of the Lord of hosts will perform this."
So then, just in reading this passage of Scripture alone,
teaches us that God's KINGDOM is all about GOVERNMENT,
and that the Lord desires for mankind to also pursue good
government practices amongst the citizens of their own
countries, and in their governing relations with neighboring
nations as well!

With that in mind, I am personally praying for God to
intervene in this year's 2008 US presidential election, in
that the Lord will lead, guide, and open the door for the
right candidate to become the next president of this
great American country...someone who is God-fearing,
as well as God-seeking...someone who is not afraid or
ashamed to go against ALL odds, to stand up and do
what is right by the American people and ALL nations!
Henceforth, I am taking the liberty to add a poll to this
post which I hope will peak the interest of those who
may have been passively neglecting their right to vote
for fear of thinking their vote won't make a difference,
or because they might have thought that politics and
religion shouldn't be intermingled...but in any case...
If ever there was a time for the Christian community
of today's generation to "wake-up" and be accounted
for...THIS IS THE APPOINTED TIME, because when all
has been said and done, remember this one thing...
That God has called and commissioned HIS people to
"GO OUT INTO THE HEDGES AND THE HIGHWAYS TO
COMPEL -(CONVINCE) - "them" to come"... in other
words, the Lord has chosen those who believe in
HIM as the Scriptures hath said, to be...
HIS GOVERNING BODY here in the earth...
To act on HIS behalf, and upon HIS divine authority...
And if any one of us should fail to live up to those
holy standards by refusing to answer that call...
THEN BEWARE! FOR GOD WILL 'NOT' BE LEFT
WITHOUT A WITNESS, and HE said in His word that
if "we" refused to do HIS holy will, then HE would
make the 'rocks' cry out in our place!
And so finally, I hope all of you who read upon this
message will at least take the time to review and
answer the poll, so that together, we might make a
world of difference for the KINGDOM of God, in
this year 2008!
